MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) process is a combination of biological wastewater treatment and filtration. Biodegradable pollutants are reduced using bacteria and microorganisms. Following biological treatment, activated sludge is separated from the treated water by Toray's PVDF flatsheet membrane with a nominal pore size of 0.08 microns densely distributed along the membrane surface.
NHP(A) series improves membrane packing density against TMR140 series by Toray's unique element fabrication technology, then that leads 50 percent increase in capacity at the same footprint and lower air scour requirement of rigid plate MBR models.
